The Fine Print for Studio & Prop hire

Outlined here are your contractual obligations where HIRING PROPS from Ginger Whisk.

Payments |  Unless you have an account with Ginger Whisk, a 50% deposit of the total hire cost for the props will need to be paid on collection, with the balance and any additional fees, to be paid on return of the props. We accept cash, cheque or direct electronic payments.

Overdue returns |   Hired props must be returned by the agreed date. Late returns will incur an additional hire charge, as per the original hire rate. 

Cancellation |  If the Hirer decides to withdraw their order for any reason [once the order has been processed] then payment will still be due.

Alterations |  The props will be inspected by Ginger Whisk and they must be returned in the same condition as when they were hired. No props are to be altered in any way [painted, modified or stripped]. The penalty for alteration will be a charge of 100% of the value of the prop.

Loss, damage or breakage |  If any props are lost, damaged or broken, the Hirer must immediately notify Ginger Whisk and return the prop to them for assessment. The Hirer will be required to pay the replacement value of the prop.

Insurance |   Once the props are no longer in the care of Ginger Whisk, the Hirer is responsible for maintaining all appropriate insurance covers, covering injury, loss and damage.


Outlined here are your contractual obligations when HIRING STUDIO SPACE from Ginger Whisk.

Booking times |  Full day studio bookings are from 0845hrs - 1730hrs. If you would like to hire the studio at other times, please get in touch and we will tailor a rate to suit your needs.

Cancellation fees, booking and holds |  A hold placed on a studio becomes a booking 36 hours prior to the hire date, unless the Hirer makes notification to the contrary. A cancellation made less than 24-hours prior to the studio hire, incurs a fee of £200 plus VAT. Cancellation on the day will incur a fee of 100% of the hire charge.

Booking periods | The initial agreed number of days the studio is booked for shall stand as the total number of days to be invoiced, regardless of whether the Hirer no longer requires the studio for the confirmed hire period. 

Your property |  Clients leaving property in the studios do so at their own risk. Ginger Whisk will not be held responsible for the loss or theft of any property of any person using the studios.

Insurance |  Clients should ensure that their insurance policy covers them whilst using the facilities at Ginger Whisk.
